Dining Room Supervisor
The Dining Room Supervisor leads servers to deliver service with a hospitality focus
Qualifications
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must have 2 years' experience as a server/hostess
Must have prior supervisory experience
Supervisory Requirements
Responsible for scheduling department hours, obtaining coverage for open shifts, and overall supervision. Provides continuous training, serves as an effective role model, and maintains an approachable management style. Works with Food Service Director to ensure communication and teamwork between kitchen staff and servers.
Dining Room Duties
Supervision of the dining room, managing the dining room staff, and making station assignments
Create luxury environment for all the senses by greeting and seating guests
Follow up with guests throughout their meal to ensure they are receiving excellent experience
Handle guest requests personally and/or refer as appropriate
Ensure the food is great tasting and beautiful looking before presentation to diners
Ensure that resident special diets are adhered to prior to plate presentation
Reasonably accommodate resident preferences in dining services
Ensure proper sanitation and maintenance procedures are followed in dining room
Coordinate activities of the kitchen and dining room staff to ensure residents are properly served
Receive and resolve complaints graciously and timely
Work with Food Service Manager to plan and execute special events

Must demonstrate trustworthiness, dependability, and display integrity and professionalism
Must work efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision
Must demonstrate effective communication skills with residents, staff, and management
Must always be in proper attire and well groomed
