Memory Care Nurse Supervisor

Position Summary

Aravilla Memory Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Supervisor (LPN or RN) to serve as the lead nurse on 1st shift and provide clinical oversight for our specialized memory care community Monday- Friday. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional care for residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, supervising the nursing and caregiving teams, overseeing medications and treatments, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting residents, families, and staff. The Nurse Supervisor also participates in an every-other-weekend on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary nurse on 1st shift and provide clinical leadership.
• Supervise, support, and mentor nursing and caregiving staff.
• Ensure residents receive compassionate, person-centered memory care.
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, and clinical documentation.
• Monitor resident health and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Complete assessments and assist with care plan updates.
• Maintain compliance with Florida ALF regulations and company policies.
• Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and risk management activities.
• Respond to resident care concerns, incidents, and emergencies.
• Assist with staffing coordination with the RCC and daily clinical operations.
• Participate in an every-other-weekend on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Florida LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in Memory Care and Assisted Living preferred.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, and person-centered care practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supervising nursing teams in a senior living environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff.
• Knowledge of Florida ALF regulations and healthcare compliance standards.

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
