Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restorative Nurse to join our team, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through specialized care. In this vital role, you will develop and oversee restorative care plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Your leadership will promote optimal recovery, independence, and well-being for our residents, especially those with complex health needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized restorative care plans aligned with residents’ needs and goals
- Monitor resident progress through thorough assessments and documentation review
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care strategies
- Supervise nursing staff in delivering restorative therapies and interventions
- Ensure compliance with health regulation policies including HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
- Educate residents and families on restorative practices to promote engagement and understanding
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and ensure regulatory documentation is complete
Requirements
- Proven experience in critical care, assisted living, home health, hospice care, or hospital settings with a focus on restorative or perioperative nursing
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, surgical nursing expertise, and medical terminology
- Demonstrated leadership in nurse management or team management roles with supervisory experience
- Familiarity with EMR systems, medical records management, documentation review, and regulatory compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to manage shift responsibilities effectively while ensuring quality patient care
- Knowledge of healthcare management principles including budgeting, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory policies such as Medicare requirements
