Immediate Need for Material Handler 2nd shift!!

We’re hiring 2nd Shift Material Handlers for a top-tier manufacturing facility in San Marcos! This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with excellent growth potential. Don't miss your chance to be part of a thriving team!

Pay: 2nd Shift - $18.38/hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday)

1. Transfer and deliver parts to production using scanners and proper location systems
2. Manage inventory storage, restocking, and FIFO rotation
3. Audit inventory locations and perform daily counts for accuracy
4. Monitor Kanban and maintain proper inventory levels on the production floor
5. Handle scrap processes including weighing, documenting, and recycling materials
6. Coordinate and prepare shipments across facilities and distribution centers
7. Maintain machine operations by keeping hoppers stocked and managing material flow
8. Load/unload bins, separate molded parts, and ensure proper handling
9. Identify defects, label products, and support quality control sampling
10. Maintain cleanliness, assist with training, and support overtime needs

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not always required)
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
• Basic math skills (counting, weighing, inventory tracking)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience (a plus, not required)
• Familiarity with handheld scanners or willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of inventory or stocking processes (FIFO is a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Equipment & Technical

• Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment such as:
• 1. Electric Pallet jacks
  2. Manual Pallet Jacks
• Basic computer or system entry skills
