Flat Cutter / Offline Finishing Operator – 2nd Shift (3PM-11PM)

Join the Arandell team as an Offline Finishing Operator and become a part of our legacy of excellence that spans over 100 years. You'll be the expert behind the machine, transforming printed sheets into beautiful, finished products.

You'll be responsible for setting up and operating state-of-the-art equipment to automatically fold, slit, and score sheets for binding. You'll ensure every order is perfect by accurately loading paper, performing quality checks, and precisely cutting and staging finished work. You'll also have the skills to adjust the machine mid-run and handle minor maintenance, keeping production running smoothly.

This is a second shift role from Monday through Friday 3PM-11PM.

The pay rate is: $23.35 (including shift premium)

WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:

• Set up and operation of cutting/folding machinery.
• Examines work order to determine and perform set up specifications.
• Monitoring and maintaining quality by following company standard operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, finishing operators, material handlers, and co-workers.
• Providing oversight, direction, and training to general workers or temporary staff members assigned to assist in the folding area.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and production adjustments of equipment as needed.
• Clean and maintain the work area.
• Performing other bindery and related functions as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Finishing Operator experience includes the ability to set up and operate bindery.
• Knowledge of cutting, mailing, and folding is highly desired.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math skills and knowledge.
