Aranda Tooling is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support and scale our manufacturing programs. This role is critical to ensuring robust, repeatable, and efficient manufacturing processes that support current production demands and future growth. The ideal candidate brings hands-on manufacturing experience, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of supporting complex tooling and production programs in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
-Own and and support manufacturing processes across assigned programs from launch through steady-state production.
Develop, validate, and continuously improve process flows, equipment layouts, tooling concepts, create work instructions, and standardized work.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), process control plans, and equipment setup procedures.
Support new program launches, engineering changes, and capacity expansions.
Data Analysis & Problem Solving
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, scrap drivers, downtime trends, and yield losses.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Establish and monitor KPIs to drive process stability and performance.
Quality & Process Control
Partner with Quality to develop PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, and inspection methods.
Ensure processes consistently meet customer, internal, and regulatory quality requirements.
Support audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with customer standards, OSHA requirements, and applicable regulations.
Training & Technical Leadership
Train operators, technicians, and supervisors on new and revised processes.
Serve as a technical resource for production, maintenance, and leadership teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
Communicate risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities clearly and professionally.
Safety & Risk Management
Conduct process risk assessments and safety reviews.
Implement mitigation plans to reduce safety, quality, and operational risks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
5 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience supporting production programs, tooling, or complex manufacturing processes.
Strong data analysis and root cause problem-solving skills.
Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and manufacturing data systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in tooling, metal fabrication, stamping, or machining.
Experience supporting program launches and engineering changes.
Six Sigma or Lean certification.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Work Hours:
Full time onsite position
- Engineering schedules are determined based on business needs and coverage requirements.
Hours may vary and flexibility is expected to ensure adequate support for multi shift operations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to spend extended time on the manufacturing floor.
Ability to lift to [25] lbs. occasionally.
