IT Specialist

As we modernize our technology systems, we are seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst to design and optimize system architecture, lead automation initiatives, and support our long-term IT strategy.

Position Overview

The IT Systems Analyst is an exempt-level technical role responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing business systems, including SAP Business One, SQL-based reporting structures, and AI-enabled process automation. This position requires advanced analytical abilities, independent judgment, and high-level systems expertise.

Responsibilities

Systems Analysis & Architecture:

• Design, customize, and optimize SAP Business One system architecture, workflows, user-defined fields, and integrations.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system enhancements.
• Lead system upgrade planning, performance optimization, and long-term IT architecture decisions.

Software Development & Automation:

• Develop custom scripts, tools, and integrations using SQL, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Build automation solutions and AI-driven workflows to reduce manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain APIs or middleware connections between SAP B1 and other business platforms.

Data Engineering & Reporting:

• Architect and manage SQL databases, stored procedures, views, and data pipelines.
• Develop advanced automated reports and dashboards using SQL, Crystal Reports, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and system integrity across platforms.

Technical Leadership & Strategy:

• Advise management on technology roadmaps, system improvements, and emerging AI tools.
• Evaluate new technologies and lead implementations that align with business goals.
• Establish system standards, documentation, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in systems analysis, software development, or IT architecture.
• Advanced experience with SAP Business One (configuration, customization, integrations).
• Strong proficiency in SQL (querying, optimization, stored procedures).
• Experience with AI tools, automation software, or machine-learning-assisted workflows.
• Ability to design and implement technical solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and independent decision-making capability.
• Experience in distribution, wholesale, or import/export environments preferred
