The Lead Student Worker is responsible for the supervision, training, and management of the food operation. Ensures that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served.
Job Responsibilities
- The intern?will be responsible?for going around the dining hall and gathering surveys from students but also faculty?and staff who join us for lunch and dinner.?
- Going around campus and promoting the food and events that will be served in the dining hall.?
- Running all social?media accounts of the dining hall.?
- Tabling events in the dining?room when we have weekly/monthly events.?
- Responsible?for check-ins with the district marketing team to help elevate?the experience in the dining hall.?
- The?intern?should have or know Aramark meal plans and benefits
- The?intern?should have a bright and exciting personality?
- Have good idea about social media (photos, videos, promotional post, etc)?
- The intern?should have an idea of graphic design
- The student intern must have some practice in cash handling
- Other duties assigned by manager
Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull or carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- May require walking from one side of campus to another regardless of adverse weather
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- May require working with chemicals, heated equipment, steam and other at risk conditions
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be a student at WNMU
