Job Description

The Tour Guide is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by learning and accurately delivering approved tour scripts with enthusiasm and professionalism, booking reservations, confidently engaging and assisting individual guests and large group's needs. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 to $23.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.?

Job Responsibilities

? Guides patrons on tours
? Greeting guests in a courteous and professional manner
? Understands and speaks to history, knowledge, and facts about the location
? Respond to customer questions and requests
? Responsible for the safety of tour guests
? Maintain professional demeanor and appearance
? Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

? Previous guest services experience preferred
? Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
? Demonstrate organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
? Able to stand and walk for long periods of time to conduct tours
? Experience with Living History and Cultural History presentations a plus
? Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
? Demonstrate organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
