Custodial Services EVS Manager - Juneau, AK

Job Description

Aramark Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to support custodial operations at Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) in Juneau, AK and several remote clinics.

The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager is responsible for developing and executing facility solutions to ensure all health, safety, sanitation, and quality standards are met. The role supports a geographically dispersed custodial operation spanning multiple medical office buildings and clinics across Juneau and surrounding remote villages, with Juneau serving as the operational headquarters.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee custodial and housekeeping activities across multiple facilities.
• Manage remote clinic locations and support operational consistency across sites.
• Travel regularly to facilities throughout Southeast Alaska to provide leadership, operational oversight, and client support.
  

Leadership

• Assume overall ownership and accountability for operational management and financial performance.
• Coach and develop employees by creating a shared understanding of goals, expectations, and performance standards.
• Reward and recognize employee contributions and achievements.
• Identify, engage, and develop top talent to maximize individual and team potential.
• Plan and lead team meetings to drive communication, engagement, and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
  

Client Relationship

• Establish and maintain strong client and customer relationships that support a mutually beneficial partnership.
• Identify client needs and communicate operational progress and solutions.
• Deliver and model WEST as the foundation for exceptional customer service.
• Support new business development and client retention initiatives.
• Develop facilities, custodial, maintenance, grounds, and energy management programs that meet client expectations and operational requirements.
  

Financial Performance

• Manage budgets and drive revenue growth through effective labor, supply, and inventory cost controls.
• Ensure the completion, accuracy, and maintenance of departmental financial reporting.
• Maintain accountability for achieving client and company financial objectives.
• Utilize Aramark systems and processes while minimizing reliance on custom or manual reporting.
• Analyze performance metrics, operational data, inventory trends, and labor productivity to identify opportunities for improvement and margin enhancement.
  

Operational Excellence & Productivity

• Implement and maintain General Manager agendas and initiatives related to labor management and quality standards.
• Drive operational efficiency through effective cost management and resource utilization.
• Ensure consistent application of Aramark operational standards, policies, and best practices.
• Promote sustainability initiatives focused on energy reduction, waste minimization, and labor productivity improvements.
• Monitor performance across multiple facilities and remote locations to ensure service excellence and operational consistency.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of experience in healthcare environmental services
• Requires up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients and consumers
