Job Description:
The primary assignments of this role will be to perform rapid assessments of clients’ internal technology landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Public Cloud technology such as in Oracle OCI, Oracle SaaS, Oracle PaaS and AWS/ Azure good to have.
You will be expected to be hands-on and be able to work technically, as an individual or part of the team, on the products you are designing – Without any doubt you will need to be able to perform hands-on work on your own, in this role – This is not a theory/paper-based role – Hands-On-Keyboard execution is required.
You should possess a can-do attitude and at least 5 to 7 years related experience in any combination of infrastructure engineering, and operational management, consulting and architecture, and design, prior to taking this position.
Experience in Oracle’s core OCI Cloud product line such as IaaS, SaaS and PaaS and Engineered Systems is a must
Core Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Technologies
- Deep understanding of OCI architecture, regions, compartments, and identity domains.
- Experience designing and deploying compute, networking, and storage architectures in OCI.
- Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including federation, dynamic groups, and policies.
- Familiarity with OCI Security tools (Vault, Cloud Guard, WAF, Bastion, Security Zones).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or Resource Manager for OCI Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience in OCI cost management, tagging strategies, and budget controls.
- Understanding of disaster recovery (DR) types and concepts, high availability designs using multiple ADs and regions, using DRPGs and FSDR.
