ABOUT THE ROLE
The Marketing Manager is the primary relationship owner and strategic lead for their portfolio of client accounts. You’ll guide communication, oversee projects, and ensure clients receive work that drives measurable results. This is a client-facing project management–first role with strategic thinking and light execution mixed in. You’ll report directly to the Account Director.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Client Leadership & Relationship Management
- Own day-to-day communication and act as the main point of contact for assigned clients.
- Lead client meetings, present work, and guide marketing priorities.
- Build trust by setting expectations, providing clarity, and communicating proactively.
- Maintain awareness of each client’s goals, scope, and ongoing initiatives.
2. Project Management & Delivery Oversight
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and workflows across internal teams.
- Provide clear direction and context when assigning tasks.
- QA work before it reaches clients to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Identify risks early and address issues before they become problems.
3. Marketing Strategy & Light Execution
- Develop marketing recommendations across digital, content, creative, and paid channels (supported by our creative team).
- Collaborate with specialists to execute campaigns.
- Support occasional execution tasks (e.g., reviews, simple analysis, QA).
- Translate performance insights into clear guidance for clients.
SUCCESS METRICS
Your primary KPI is client retention - ensuring clients stay, renew, and feel supported along the way.
Our team achieves this through clear communication, strong project delivery, proactive problem-solving, and helping clients see meaningful results for their investment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 4 years in marketing account management, client service, or agency project management.
- Solid grasp of digital marketing channels and how they work together.
- Excellent communication and meeting-leadership skills.
- Strong organization and detail-orientation across multiple projects.
- Ability to think strategically and connect marketing activity to business goals.
