If any of this sounds like you, we are in search of Retail Sales Associates to join our team at a new store in Midtown Manhattan!
These roles are responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, conducting sales, maintaining reliable inventory practices, and readily conversing about music and merchandise. Retail Sales Associates will report to Araca's store management team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering exceptional customer service with each transaction/interaction
- Handling cash and credit transactions
- Assisting patrons with merchandise-related questions
- Counting, restocking and folding inventory
- Maintaining displays, merchandise arrangements, and kiosk appearance
- Engaging patrons in a friendly and polite manner
- Following procedures set forth by Client/ Araca Management
- Meeting and exceeding sales goals
Qualified Sales Associates will have:
- One year of retail and/or sales experience
- A high school-level or equivalent diploma
- The desire to be a strong team-player
- Excellent interpersonal, creative problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- An understanding of urgency & speed in transactions, while maintaining accuracy
- Availability to work at least four (4) shifts or 15-30 hours per week unless otherwise noted
- The ability to lift 30lb.
