What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASTRA LUMINA Merchandise Sales Associate position at Araca Merchandise L.P.?
Araca Merchandise LP is immediately accepting resumes/applications for a Sales Associate position for Astra Lumina at Abington Art Center currently open thru March 8. This experience will be Thursdays - Sundays for most of the duration with shifts lasting from 5-11pm. It will be 7 days a week during the Christmas season. Sellers will work 1-3 shifts per week. This experience is outdoors.
Araca Merchandise LP is a theatrical merchandising company, with a fast-paced and high energy retail environment. Our Sales Associates must be friendly, outgoing, articulate, engaging, dependable and adaptable!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering exceptional customer service with each transaction/interaction
- Handling cash and credit transactions
- Assisting patrons with merchandise-related questions
- Counting, restocking and folding inventory
- Maintaining displays, merchandise arrangements, and kiosk appearance
- Engaging patrons in a friendly and polite manner
- Following procedures set forth by Production/ Araca Management
- Meeting and exceeding sales goals
Qualified Sales Associates will have:
- One year of retail and/or sales experience
- A high school-level or equivalent diploma
- The desire to be a strong team-player
- Excellent interpersonal, creative problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- An understanding of urgency & speed in transactions, while maintaining accuracy
- Availability to work at least four (4) shifts or 15-30 hours per week unless otherwise noted
- The ability to lift 30lb.
