Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth team performance. Responsibilities

• Supervise restaurant staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of service and food quality.
• Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene regulations while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock control, and coordinate food production to minimize waste and optimize resources.
• Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Support management in shift planning, team training sessions, and performance evaluations to promote continuous improvement.

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience within the food industry or hospitality sector.
• Skilled in using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions and reporting.
• Excellent team management abilities with a focus on staff training, development, and effective communication.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, inventory control, and food handling procedures.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and profit analysis; experience with budgeting is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is advantageous.
