What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers – Long Haul position at AR Transportation?
We are looking for hard-working experienced OTR drivers (non-CDL required) to operate 26ft Freightliner M2 box trucks (automatic transmission, 2020 models). This is long-haul freight — you’ll be running across multiple states with consistent weekly miles.
Pay & Benefits
- $0.45 per loaded mile starting- $0.40
- $0.25 per empty mile (deadhead) starting-$0.20

Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience of OTR (not local deliveries)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license (no CDL required)
- Clean driving record (MVR will be checked)
- At least 24 years old (insurance requirement)
- Able to stay on the road for 3-4 weeks at a time
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack/lift-gate for dock deliveries
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
What You’ll Do
- Operate a 26ft box truck OTR (no CDL required) ~3000-3500 miles/ week
- Transport general freight (dock-to-dock, palletized, no heavy hand loading)
- Use pallet jack for moving freight inside the truck when required
- Complete logs and inspections per DOT regulations
- Communicate with dispatch for load updates
