What You'll Do
- Assist and perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision-machined parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Complete inspection reports, certifications, and shipment paperwork required by customers
- Identify and document nonconforming material; support root cause and corrective actions
- Maintain calibration records and support our ISO 9001 / AS9100-based quality system
- 2 years of quality inspection experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
- Blueprint reading and basic GD&T
- Experience working with standard inspection tools such as optical comparators, CMMs, and hand instruments including calipers and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation habits
- High school diploma or equivalent.
