- AS / BS degree in mechanical / electrical / electronics with 2 years experience in hvac / air conditioning / refrigeration systems
- experience with labview prefered and universal epa section 608 certification prefered
- knowledge of industrial wiring, hydronic , ac motors and controls
- experience with single / three phase electrical power systems, vfds / plcs / pid controls / lab instrumentation and electrical test equipment
- Set up, operate and maintaine compressor performance and test stands ranging 1 to 1500 tons in an R&D laboratory
- Performed handson mechanical and electrical work
- ability to braze large piping and use overhead cranes and rigging equipment for test setups
- ability to operate pivs including forklifts
