Aquinas Hospice is looking for an experienced Hospice RN who thrives on independence, knows how to confidently manage patient needs after hours, and wants a schedule that creates real work-life balance.
This is a full-time, 7-on/7-off position, giving you an entire week off after every week worked.
Schedule:
- Monday through Sunday
- 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- 7 nights on, followed by 7 nights off
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- Starting at $85,000 per year

What You'll Do
As our On-Call Hospice RN, you'll provide clinical support and compassionate care to hospice patients and families during evening and overnight hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding to patient and family needs after hours
- Assessing changes in patient condition
- Carrying out physician orders
- Communicating significant changes and patient needs to physicians and the hospice team
- Providing symptom-management support and nursing interventions
- Coordinating with members of the interdisciplinary hospice team
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Providing care in accordance with agency policies, professional standards, and scope of practice
- Delivering calm, compassionate support when patients and families need it most

What We're Looking For
Because this is an independent after-hours position, hospice experience is important.
Required:
- Active RN license in Kansas and Missouri
- Minimum 2 years of hospice nursing experience
- Valid driver's license
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently in the field
- Ability to successfully complete required background checks
