Aquila Catamarans is seeking a Marketing Planner to join our growing team. As the world leader in manufacturing high-quality, innovative power catamarans and recently expanded into sailing catamarans, we're building on our momentum and looking for the right person to help bring our brand to life across every channel.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative Marketing Planner who will report directly to and work closely with the Marketing Manager on the execution of Aquila's marketing programs. This is a hands-on content and coordination role where you'll handle the day-to-day production of social and video content, email campaigns, dealer marketing materials, and event support. You're savvy with AI tools to help move faster and work smarter, but you know how to bring the human touch that makes content feel authentic to the Aquila brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executes day-to-day marketing activities and supports product launches and events by coordinating assets, timelines, and deliverables across channels
- Manages the creation, scheduling, and publication of social media and YouTube content, including copywriting, imagery selection, and basic graphic design in line with campaign direction and brand standards
- Monitors social channels for engagement and responds to comments and messages to maintain a strong brand presence
- Develops and schedules email campaigns in HubSpot, including newsletters, product announcements, event promotions, nurture programs, and dealer communications, following established templates and brand guidelines
- Supports email list management and audience segmentation to ensure communications reach the appropriate recipients
- Updates website content and develops landing pages in HubSpot as needed to support ongoing marketing initiatives
- Coordinates marketing materials, branded merchandise, and collateral for boat shows and dealer events to ensure timely availability and quality
- Supports event preparation from a marketing perspective, helping campaigns and materials stay on schedule and within budget
- Maintains the dealer asset library so dealers have timely access to marketing resources for their markets
- Keeps the marketing calendar current and maintains organized shared folders and project trackers for team efficiency
- Pulls reports from marketing platforms and compiles performance data to inform the Marketing Manager
- Handles miscellaneous projects and special assignments as needed to support marketing initiatives
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or a related role
- Hands-on experience managing social media accounts across major platforms, with a strong understanding of what makes content perform.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, HubSpot experience is a strong plus; experience with comparable platforms (Mailchimp, etc.) will be considered.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging, on-brand copy across multiple formats and channels.
- Comfortable using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for basic content creation.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, hit deadlines, and keep shared resources up to date.
- A self-starter who communicates proactively and takes ownership of their work without needing close supervision.
- Comfortable working in a lean team environment where adaptability and initiative are valued.
- No boating experience required, but genuine interest in the marine or outdoor lifestyle industry is a plus.

PHYSICAL RQUIREMENTS

Compensation: $60k–$70k annually, depending on experience
