**Your Impact:**
As a key contributor to our pilot operations, you will be responsible for essential tasks that support the batching and material handling processes. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly contribute to the successful development and analysis of new product formulations. You will ensure that our facilities and equipment meet the highest standards, playing a vital role in maintaining an efficient and compliant operational environment.
**What You'll Do:**
* Adhere to all established company policies and practices, including quality, environmental, safety, and health procedures.
* Set up equipment and instruments, and stage raw materials and supplies to facilitate smooth batching and analysis of pilot formulations.
* Maintain accurate recordkeeping for pre-weigh batches and any necessary adjustment materials.
* Manage the storage and organization of raw materials and components, including specialized storage requirements.
* Label and prepare excess raw materials and bulk for destruction and removal in accordance with established quality and environmental guidelines.
* Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of equipment, ensuring the washroom remains organized and clean.
* Conduct essential analytical testing, such as pH, viscosity, and specific gravity, as required for pilot batches.
* Undertake additional duties as instructed by management to meet the evolving demands of the business.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
* 2 years of experience in a process equipment or manufacturing environment.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Recent graduates with relevant internship experience or a scientific degree will be considered.
