To Be Considered For This Role, You Must

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
  • Be able to be flexible with work scheduling, including the ability to work weekends.

What You’ll Do

  • Securely handle and accurately record payments collected at the point-of-service delivery.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of various health insurance coverage options and their related processes and procedures.
  • Address routine patient escalations and perform service recovery with professionalism and empathy.
  • Escalate advanced or complex registrations to more experienced team members for resolution.
  • Greet patients warmly and initiate the registration process, maintaining professional communication with staff, medical professionals, guests, and patients through telephone, email, or in-person contact.
  • Meet weekly individual productivity and key performance indicators and standards, adhering to departmental priorities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all individuals encountered.
  • Undertake a combination of responsibilities across all areas of patient access service operations.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to speak and write effectively at a level appropriate for the job.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems and software used in a functional area.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, including various insurance types and health programs.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $42.09 – $45.16 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
