Market Research focuses on company-wide strategic decision support, client loyalty and behavior, advanced analytics, market research, reporting, and client & prospect data analysis. The Market Research team is looking for an experienced strategic thinker with impeccable market research skills to support giving0. Giving is an independent public charity created to increase charitable giving in the United States by offering the flexible giving solution of a donor-advised fund account. We are a leading national donor-advised fund provider - having granted out to over 200,000 charities nationwide since inception on behalf of our donors.


In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and highly capable team of researchers and analysts and specifically responsible for the day-to-day management and support of online communities of giving clients (advisors who manage donor-advised funds for their clients). You will be partnering closely with the giving organization, as well as external research vendors and agencies to help giving achieve their strategy of enhancing their Platform and creating better experiences for every client.


Key Responsibilities:

Partner with vendor to manage an online community of advisor clients with an eye towards maximizing community participation and providing clients with a first-rate experience. In this role, it will be important to have or build an understanding of the advisor (RIA) audience in order to engage this group effectively.

Analytic and Research Skills:

Ability to develop detailed, tactical project plans and implement them on time and within budget

Extremely strong analytic, mathematical and statistical skills; ability to extract insights out of complex datasets and fact-bases

Capability to help shape team thinking regarding all aspects of research strategy, design and execution


Communications & Interpersonal Skills:

Must work collaboratively across the organization to define research goals and objectives

Proactively seek opportunities for collaboration with team members and other analytic or business groups

Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including senior-management-level presentation skills

Easy to get along with; someone that is a ‘joy’ to have as part of the team


Project Management Skills:

Ability to structure and execute complex research efforts from end-to-end (with support of Market Research Directors)

Ability to manage research vendors including relationship oversight, establishing a collaborative partnership, and budget management

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize projects within strategic business priorities

Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Ability to oversee online communities managed by an outside vendor

Ability to evolve and optimize the online communities to maximize value and insights to both DAFgiving360 and our clients


Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing research (‘vendor side’ or ‘client side’ experience)

Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

College degree


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with engaging advisory boards or other groups in an online setting

Experience with an investment firm

Research experience with financial advisors, particularly RIAs

Experience designing and managing User Experience (UX) studies

Experience with implementing AI tools in research

Experience in mission-driven or social impact organizations

Financial service experience
