Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced forecasting and analytical techniques to predict consumer demand and market trends with high accuracy.
- Develop comprehensive product demand plans for assigned categories, directly impacting forecast accuracy and overall business profitability.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship within the demand planning function, fostering growth and best practices.
- Generate and integrate short-term forecasts for internal operations, incorporating replenishment data, customer insights, sales promotions, marketing strategies, and product lifecycle changes.
- Apply statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making tools to validate initial seasonal product plans across various categories.
- Document processes, communicate insights effectively, and ensure timely information flow.
- Analyze internal demand streams, categorizing patterns to inform strategic planning.
- Leverage statistical techniques, business objectives, causal factors, external market intelligence, and sell-through analysis to produce highly accurate global forecasts.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience in demand planning or a related analytical role.
- Alternatively, the following combinations of education and experience will be considered:
- PhD or Law Degree 3 years of relevant experience
- Master’s Degree 4 years of relevant experience
- Associate’s Degree 6 years of relevant experience
- High School Diploma 7 years of relevant experience
- Proven expertise in advanced forecasting and statistical analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
