Key Responsibilities
- Collect and maintain comprehensive data to support capital project and portfolio tracking, benchmarking studies, ad-hoc analysis, and reporting.
- Provide essential data and analytical support for infrastructure filings and rate cases.
- Respond to data requests from various regulatory agencies with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in the development of short- and long-term financial forecast updates, adhering to established guidelines and processes.
- Develop, populate, and present relevant performance benchmarks and scorecards to stakeholders.
- Support analytical evaluations and reporting of year-to-date actual financial performance against historical and budgeted performance.
- Collect and organize data to understand cost structures and determine the impact of project scope changes and sourcing decisions.
- Utilize financial systems proficiently to plan, execute, and report on capital investment performance.
- Perform essential functions with a high degree of autonomy and minimal oversight.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, capital planning, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail and excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Solid knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Adept at applying accounting and mathematical principles to complex financial scenarios.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
- Experience with financial analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Previous experience with enterprise application systems beyond basic computer applications.
