Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Concepting: Lead the development of video strategies for high-visibility “Stories” within the major product initiatives.
- Creative Authorship: Own the presentation process. You will be responsible for building Keynotes, writing scripts/conversational frameworks, and presenting work to senior leadership.
- Creative Direction & Oversight: While you won’t be “pushing pixels” in Motion or Design, you will provide critical feedback to in-house designers and motion artists to ensure a cohesive final product.
- Vendor Management: Serve as the creative authority when working with external production houses. You will review director treatments and provide high-level direction during shoots (often via remote directing tools like Evercast).
- End-to-End Ownership: Manage 2–3 long-term projects simultaneously (typically 4-month cycles), maintaining the vision through post-production, color correction, and final delivery.
- 10 Years of Experience: Proven track record at top-tier design, advertising, or production agencies. You should be functioning at a Creative Director level with a heavy emphasis on live-action.
- Exceptional Writing Skills: This is a mandate. You must be able to write precisely, structure scripts for documentary-style content, and articulate complex strategies in decks.
- Live-Action Expertise: A portfolio demonstrating a mastery of human-centric storytelling, social-native formats, and cinematography.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to look at a project through a business lens, elevating a brief beyond just “making it look good” to “making it work” for the brand.
- Presentation & Communication: Strong “presence” in leadership reviews. You must be comfortable defending creative decisions and pivoting based on high-level feedback.
- The “Visual Eye”: While not a hands-on motion role, you must have refined taste in typography, graphic design, and motion rhythm to guide those who are executing the work.
