💵 Hiring: Accounting Specialist – Cash Reconciliations & AR 💵
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist for a 9-month assignment in Lone Tree, CO (Hybrid) with a premier financial services client! Sitting within the Controller’s organization, you’ll drive high-volume cash accounting, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger operations.
Role Details:
- Location: Lone Tree, CO (Hybrid setup)
- Start Date: September 02, 2026
- Duration: 9-months (Full-time)
- Pay Rate: $38.27 – $42.53 / hour (W2)
What You’ll Do:
- Execute daily, monthly, and quarterly cash accounting functions, including journal entries for cash transfers and write-offs.
- Reconcile general ledger cash and investment accounts against bank statements to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Partner with internal Treasury and Operations teams to record transactions accurately and maintain strong internal controls.
- Support Accounts Receivable month-end processes, including reclassifications, posting monthly allowances, aging reports, and client refund processing.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in high-volume cash reconciliations and corporate accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise reporting systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with large-scale financial platforms, automated account reconciliation software, or data analytics tools.
- Background in the financial services industry.
