What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Aqueduct Technologies, Inc.?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions as needed.
- Work on a team to automate and streamline processes within the finance organization using AI, Macros, and third-party teams
- Reconcile bank statements, Credit Card statements, and other balance sheet accounts as needed
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal staff regarding payments and account status.
- Assist with various accounting projects, reporting, and other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualities:
- BA in Accounting/Finance OR 1-2 years hands-on experience in small corporation
- Experience with NetSuite and Avalara a plus
- Proficiency in excel.
- Reporting Skills, Attention to Details, Deadline oriented.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Team player and fun to work with.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
