CREW SUPERVISOR

Aquatic Vegetation Control, Inc. (AVC) is hiring a Crew Supervisor to lead field crews performing aquatic and land-based vegetation management.

This is a hands-on outdoor leadership role. Prior experience is helpful but not required — we will train the right candidate who is reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn.

AVC is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and work alongside field crews during daily operations

• Enforce safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies

• Operate trucks, boats, trailers, and application equipment safely

• Perform daily equipment and safety inspections

• Ensure quality work and protect the environment

• Complete daily reports and communicate with Project Managers

• Take ownership of crew safety, equipment, and job performance

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable, safety-minded individual willing to lead in the field

• Ability to work outdoors in tough conditions (heat, water, vegetation)

• Valid driver’s license

• Willingness to obtain FDACS pesticide application license within 6 months (training provided)

• Ability to pass a background check

• Commitment to working in a Drug-Free Workplace (DFWP)

Experience:

• Entry-level candidates welcome

• Prior field, labor, or crew leadership experience is a plus

Work Environment

• Outdoor work in heat, humidity, standing water, and uneven terrain

• Exposure to wildlife and insects

• Lifting up to 50 lbs and operating equipment

Qualified Applicants must have outdoor working experience, valid Florida driver's license, the ability to pass drug and background screening, the ability to obtain a pesticide application license, and reliably commute to remote locations throughout Palm Beach County. A company truck will be provided after probationary period.

Salary : $18 - $30
