Role Description The Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Reno, NV, responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing evidence-based treatment programs for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and adjusting individualized care plans, and delivering hands-on therapy, aquatic therapy interventions and working with your personally assigned technicians to deliver the best care available. The role involves educating patients and families on exercises, safety, and recovery strategies, coordinating care with other health professionals, and maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation. The Physical Therapist will also contribute to a safe and supportive clinical environment, monitor patient progress, and participate in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, including developing and managing individualized treatment plans.
- Strong communication skills to provide compassionate, person-centered support across diverse populations.
- Foundational knowledge of Medicine relevant to physical therapy practice, including anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility for licensure in Nevada) and graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Experience or strong interest in aquatic physical therapy and working in an outpatient environment with people who can have specific restrictions.
- Effective communication, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including assisting patients in and out of aquatic environments, following all safety protocols.
