What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aquatic Technician position at Aquatechnex LLC?
Travel: Some overnight Trips may be required
Compensation: DOE Starting at $20/hr
Functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Treat for algae and any other unwanted submersed and floating vegetation.
- Treatments for algae may require the mobilization and operation of a small watercraft
- Service aeration, fountains, and other equipment related maintenance.
- Occasionally remove overgrown cattails through manual removal efforts.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Experience in an environmental related field preferred
Ability to obtain state licenses required to perform the role upon hire
Ability to use various hand tools
Commitment to use of PPE and following safety guidelines
Mechanically inclined
Ability to trailer and operate aquatic vessels (preferred)
Knowledge of aquatic vegetation (preferred)
The work at times will require strenuous physical exertion and the employee may be required to drive, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must possess a valid driver’s license

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
