Car Wash Attendant Job Description

• Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction at AquaShine Express Car Wash
• Day-to-day activities includes providing superior customer service, and ensuring customer needs and expectations are met
• Driving sales through e-mail promotions and selling monthly wash subscriptions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Providing quality customer service to every customer.
• Greeting customers with a positive attitude and treating them with respect.
• Addressing any customer concerns promptly with the assistance of the Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Knowledge of all services, promotions, memberships, and packages offered
• Handling customer payments
• Sales:
• Upselling additional services
• Informing and encouraging customers to participate in promotions, car wash packages and memberships
• Signing customers up for emails
• Washing Vehicles:
• Carry out visual inspections of the vehicle to confirm their conduction before proceeding with the wash.
• Apply various Pre- or Post treatments as needed
• Maintain consistent wash speed to avoid service delays.
• Use proper techniques throughout the wash and dry process.
• Direct customers through each step of the process
• Maintaining Car Wash Facility
• Keep all working areas clean and organized
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
• Restock cleaning supplies and inform management when more supplies need to be ordered.
• Check and maintain vacuums and trash cans

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Sales experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, however not required
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Compensation:

Total Compensation range for this position is $14.00/hr commission, based on experience.
