- Prepare and review a variety of tax returns including Individual, Partnership, C-Corp, S-Corp, and Trusts
- Prepare detailed projections on a quarterly and year-end basis
- Prepare and complete income allocation workpapers
- Prepare and review tax payment and refund summaries
- Prepare calculation of book/tax differences
- Assist in developing business and investment strategies for an optimized after-tax return for a client
- Ensure that business and personal tax-return preparation meets all regulatory requirements
- Work with the Tax team to ensure compliance and best practices are being utilized
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients by providing exceptional client service and advice
- Seek opportunities for tax saving strategies for businesses including retirement plan contributions, QBI planning, etc.
- Conduct research on tax compliance issues at the state and federal levels
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. Master’s degree a plus
- 3 years of tax experience at a public accounting firm. Big 4 experience a plus
- CPA progress a plus
- Extensive knowledge of accounting methods and tax laws
