Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sprinkler Fitter for a full-time on-site role based in Pittsburg, CA. We do work all over the bay area and beyond. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems, adhering to NFPA standards, and ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations. The Sprinkler Fitter will work on life safety systems, and inspect and troubleshoot existing sprinkler systems to ensure optimal operation. The role requires hands-on engagement, precision, and a commitment to safety and quality on job sites.
Qualifications
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler systems
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and knowledge of pipe fitting and connections
- Understanding of life safety systems and fire protection standards
- Fitter card preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and system specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to work in varying environmental conditions and at heights
- Relevant certifications or completion of a recognized Sprinkler Fitter apprenticeship program is highly desirable
