Overview
Aquacore Rental Company is seeking a high-level Diesel Technician for our Valley View location. This is a diagnostic-first role requiring a technician who can accurately troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild Industrial Diesel Engines, Emissions Systems, Electrical Systems, and Centrifugal Pumps.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair Industrial Diesel Water Pumps
- Perform advanced diagnostics on John Deere engines (4045HF285, 6068HF285, 6090HF485, 6135HF485, 6135HFC09, 6136HI440, 6180CI510)
- Troubleshoot after treatment systems (DPF, SCR, DEF, derates)
- Perform in-frame and out-of-frame engine rebuilds
- Diagnose electrical and J1939 CAN network faults
- Repair Cornell and Pioneer centrifugal pump components
- Complete accurate diagnostics and repair documentation
- Communicates with the team for ordering and stocking of needed parts, equipment, and accessories
- Communicates with team for coordinating delivery and pickup of parts, equipment, and accessories
Must be able to perform engine rebuilds and advanced diagnostics independently. No entry-level or lube tech applicants
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with John Deere engines
- Proficiency with John Deere Service Advisor diagnostic software
- Ability to perform engine tear-down, inspection, and rebuilds
- Solid electrical and after treatment diagnostic skills
- Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Must be mechanically inclined with mechanical background
- Must have your own tools
- Must be able to multitask and work on many different projects simultaneously
- Must be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projects.
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditions
Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
