Position Summary
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a key role in helping patients regain independence, improve mobility, and achieve their personal goals. You’ll design and deliver customized treatment plans, collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, and provide leadership to support staff within the clinic.
Physical Therapist: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review and physical assessments, to establish individualized care plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions—such as exercise, manual techniques, and specialized equipment—to restore function and relieve pain
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
- Provide direction and mentorship to PTAs, rehab aides, and other clinical support staff
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, expectations, and home program activities
- Protect patient privacy and uphold the highest standards of safety
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, documentation requirements, and clinical quality standards
- Contribute to a positive, professional clinic environment by following company policies and industry regulations
- Support the team and patients by assisting with other responsibilities as needed
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Delaware (or eligible via PT Compact)
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- BLS/CPR Certification (Required)
- Passion for lymphedema care (certification not required—we’ll train & mentor!)
