Aquarium Service Technician

Permanent Part-Time Aquarium Service Technician — $30–$35/hr

Part-Time | 1–2 Consistent Weekdays | Year-Round Position

We are a growing aquarium service company looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person to join our team in a permanent part-time position.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants steady, predictable daytime work without committing to a full-time schedule.

You’ll work approximately 1–2 set weekdays per week, servicing and maintaining aquariums at customers’ homes and businesses.

This is a permanent, year-round part-time position. It is not seasonal and is not intended to transition into full-time employment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine aquarium cleaning and maintenance
• Complete water changes and basic equipment maintenance
• Travel between scheduled customer locations
• Carry and move aquarium service equipment and water containers
• Troubleshoot basic pumps, filters, plumbing and aquarium equipment
• Communicate professionally with residential and commercial customers
• Work independently once fully trained

Who We’re Looking For

Aquarium experience is NOT required. We will train the right person.

We’re primarily looking for someone who is:

• Dependable, punctual and can pass a criminal background check
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Comfortable working independently
• Professional and respectful inside customers’ homes and businesses
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
• Able to lift approximately 60 lbs when necessary
• Looking for long-term, consistent part-time employmentExperience in aquarium maintenance, pool service, plumbing, HVAC, facilities maintenance, landscaping, route service, pet care or another hands-on service trade is a plus, but not required.

Schedule & Travel

Must have a clean driving record

This is a route-based position that requires driving between customer locations throughout the workday. Employees should expect to drive approximately 40–50 miles on a typical workday.

Because daily routes and customer needs can vary, workdays are generally 7–9 hours long. Some days may finish earlier, while busier or more spread-out routes may run closer to 9 hours.

Applicants should be comfortable with driving throughout the day and with a schedule where the exact end time may vary based on the day’s service route.

We’re looking for someone who values having a predictable weekly schedule rather than constantly changing part-time hours.

Pay

$30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Paid training provided.
