Water Safety Instructor

Position Summary:

This is a part-time or full-time position for someone who is fun, friendly, and loves the business of teaching children from 4 months to 12 years of age.

Job Description:

· Teach 4:1 ratio classes using the Aqua-Tots curriculum

· Ensure safety

· Go through online and in-person aquatic training

· Uphold quality and consistency of Aqua-Tots swim lessons

· Attend monthly in-service meetings

· Be assessed in teaching quality and review with aquatic leadership

· Customer Service

· Ability to work 4 shifts during the first week of training

Qualifications:

· Previous swim instruction, lifeguard, aquatics, or swim coach experience is a plus, but not required

· Experience working with children (examples include sports coach, camp counselor, or similar experience)

· Relate well to children, parents, team members – superior communication skills

· Flexible schedule – candidates must have availability to work weekdays and Saturdays

· Candidates with general teaching experience and the right personality are welcome to apply
