This role is ideal for someone interested in growing into an Aquatics Manager or General Manager position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily swim school operations and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of 15-25 swim instructors and deck supervisors.
- Ensure lesson quality across 300 weekly swim lessons while maintaining safety and operational excellence
- Conduct monthly staff meetings and in-service trainings.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and special events.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by resolving concerns quickly and professionally.
- Partner with the General Manager and Aquatics Manager to achieve enrollment, retention, and operational goals.
- Support local marketing initiatives and school events.
- Monitor cash handling and daily operational procedures.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Experience working with children or in aquatics
- Hospitality or customer service background
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to motivate and coach a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
