Swim Instructor Training:
Our Swim Instructors complete a comprehensive 40-hour paid training program that includes three parts:
Online Training: Learn the principles of water safety and instruction techniques.
In-Water Training (Without Kids): Practice essential skills in the pool.
Co-Teaching: Work alongside a Master Instructor will gain hands-on experience with students.
Proven Curriculum:
At Aqua-Tots, our award-winning curriculum is designed to make learning to swim both fun and effective.
Age-Appropriate Levels: Lessons are tailored to each child’s age and ability, starting from foundational water safety for infants to advanced stroke development for older children.
Small Class Sizes: With low student-to-instructor ratios, each child receives personalized attention to boost their confidence and skill.
Life-Saving Skills: Our program emphasizes water safety, equipping children with essential skills to stay safe in and around water.
Progress Tracking: Parents can easily track their child’s progress through consistent feedback and milestone achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach swim lessons to children aged 4 months to 12 years using Aqua-Tots curriculum.
Ensure a safe, fun, and engaging environment in the pool.
Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress.
Maintain a clean and organized pool area and equipment.
Support team members and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills and a passion for working with children and families.
Experience in swim instruction, lifeguarding, or coaching is a plus but not required—we will train you!
Current Standard First Aid, CPR-C, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain prior to starting).
Ability to pass a background check.
