Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other essential equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical balancing, water treatment chemical handling, and equipment inspections.
- Troubleshoot issues with pool equipment and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Manage chemical agent handling safely while maintaining proper water chemistry levels to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Conduct regular inspections of aquatic facility systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly to transport tools, parts, and equipment to various job sites.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, chemical treatments applied, and maintenance schedules.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or pool technician working with commercial or large-scale aquatic facilities.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems and equipment troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment repair.
- Familiarity with water treatment chemicals and safe handling procedures for chemical agents used in pools.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment effectively in outdoor environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Prior outdoor work experience in a physically demanding setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of aquatic facility operations and water chemistry principles is highly desirable.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
