Aqua Sierra Controls is a well-known company specializing in process control automation for Industrial and Municipal installations. We have been in business for over 40 years and are looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee our technical engineering activities. As a Project Manager, you will work with project teams to design, develop, implement and document process automation/control projects. Your responsibilities will include planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing out projects.
Some of your job duties will include managing and coordinating multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget. You will also assemble, lead and manage a project team, assign responsibilities and tasks to team members, and establish a project schedule. Effective communication throughout the project lifecycle and managing expectations will be critical. You will need to identify, assess and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans to address potential issues. Additionally, you will need to define and implement quality standards for project deliverables and conduct regular quality checks to ensure that project outcomes meet or exceed expectations. You will also manage project scope changes and assess their impact on project timelines, resources and budget. Maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, change orders and any other pertinent information is also a key responsibility.
- The ideal candidate will have a Project Management certification such as PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. You should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in project management software and tools, especially Microsoft Projects, is a must. You will also need to have strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure, are also necessary. You should be adaptable to changing priorities and have prior experience in Automation Controls, Manufacturing Intelligence, Critical Infrastructure. PLC, SCADA, Industrial data collection and programming platforms are also a plus.
