Aqua Pros is hiring a motivated Retail Sales Associate in Bedford and Salem, VA. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role with hourly pay commission, extensive product training, and long-term growth potential in a locally owned company.
We specialize in pools, spas, water care, and hearth products — helping customers invest in their homes and lifestyle. Our people and our customers are our priority!
What You’ll Do- Perform computerized water testing and recommend pool/spa chemicals
- Sell pools, spas, chemicals, supplies, and hearth products in a consultative sales environment
- Answer phone calls and proactively reach out to customers during promotions and sales opportunities
- Coordinate with service and construction teams for installations, repairs, and customer needs
- Build relationships, follow up on leads, and close sales
- Maintain showroom organization and assist with promotions
- Travel to other Aqua Pros locations as needed - Lynchburg, Bedford, and Salem
Spring (April 1 – July 4)
- Fast-paced, physically active, on your feet most of the day
- High volume of customers, water testing, and chemical sales
- No vacation during peak season
Winter
- Slower pace with focus on training, product knowledge, and self-development
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with physical work and customer interaction
- Self-motivated and proactive during both busy and slow seasons
- Retail or sales experience preferred
- Competitive hourly pay
