Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Industrial Safety Coordinator to champion safety initiatives within our industrial cleaning client's environment. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee safety protocols that ensure a secure and compliant workplace for all employees. Your expertise will foster a safety-first culture, reduce workplace hazards, and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies aligned with MSHA, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across ouur crew's job location on client owned facilities to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations by performing root cause analysis to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
- Deliver engaging training sessions on standards of required 24 or 8 hour MSHA classes to all our newly hired team members or renewing occupational health, emergency response procedures such as CPR and first aid, and safe work practices.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation including incident reports, inspection logs, training records, and compliance reports. In company server and safety portals websites (ISNet).
- Work with Human Resoources Dept. for required record keeping or reporting for insurance , work comp., etc.
- Collaborate with management to develop continuous improvement initiatives that promote a safe working environment with all safety requirements
- Proven experience in industrial/commercial safety management or a similar industrial setting.
- Inventory management of safety equipment, PPE distribution & stock, budget controll
- Strong knowledge of MSHA and OSHA standards, EPA regulations, workers' compensation law, and occupational health principles.
- Certifications in CPR, first aid, MSHA safety training, and OSHA, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) preferred. When required train on client site training.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to analyze data for root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective training & development programs for diverse teams.
- Familiarity with basic aspects of workers' compensation procedures and legal requirements related to workplace injuries.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

- Certified to teach MSHA new miners & 8 hr refresher.
- Work experiance is considered as well as formal school time/training... minimum of 2 consecutive yrs of work experiance.
