What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swimming Pool Cleaning Technician position at Aqua Logic Pool Care, LLC?
Learn a trade and be an entrepreneur. Medium size swimming pool service and repair company seeking a Swimming Pool Service Technician to become a part of our team! Visit 30-80 pools every week to clean, balance water chemistry and perform routine maintenance. No experience necessary and paid training offered. Background in the swimming pool industry is preferable, but not necessary. Pay will be based on experience. Flexible hours. Opportunities for additional income via filter cleans, minor repairs, and bonuses. This position requires candidates to use their vehicle to visit each account (pickup truck preferable).
Responsibilities:
- Clean residential swimming pools on weekly basis (net debris, vacuum, empty baskets)
- Balance swimming pool water chemistry
- Check that swimming pool equipment is functioning properly
- Perform routine preventative maintenance (backwash filters, lube o-rings, replace basic parts)
- Track all equipment and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in swimming pool cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields is preferred but not required
- Valid AZ drivers license
- Reliable vehicle (i.e. truck, SUV or van) that can get from pool to pool and hold equipment and supplies
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment preferred
- Ability to handle physical workload and work in the heat
- Self-starter that is hungry to learn a trade and grow
- Reliable, accountable and attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and follow through'
