Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of crew members during mowing, edging, trimming, and general landscape maintenance activities
- Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion
- Operate and maintain mowing equipment, including commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to meet company standards and client expectations
- Assist with landscape installation projects such as planting, irrigation setup, and minor construction tasks when needed
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations and promote a safe working environment for the team
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members on proper landscaping techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or related fields such as gardening or horticulture
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of landscaping practices including mowing, trimming, edging, and general garden care
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance and operation of commercial mowing machinery
- Ability to oversee multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care, horticulture principles, and basic construction is a plus
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Must have a valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and be insurable by the company
