What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service / Billing Clerk position at Aqua Gulf?
Summary: We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused domestic logistics professional to help build strong client relationships, expand business opportunities, and support our LTL division. This role offers valuable hands-on experience.
Responsibilities include managing domestic import and export activities to and from Puerto Rico, as well as assisting with shipping and receiving operations at our Jacksonville warehouse. You will be expected to learn and follow our established standard operating procedures, designed to provide each client with tailored, high-quality service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cargo arrivals and manage delivery orders with carriers and customers
- Arrange bookings with carriers and agents
- Track cargo and provide ongoing status updates to customers
- Enter shipment details and updates into our software platform
- Billing and processing shipments for sailing
- Handling of hazardous paperwork
Qualifications:
- Experience in domestic warehousing and logistics preferred
- Fully bilingual in English / Spanish
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
