## Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. 2 nd Shift Saturday and Sunday 3pm to1 1 pm, 2nd shift Monday/Wednesday/Friday 3pm to 11 pm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care , understand the responsibility of taking care of other peoples pets and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
## Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals
- Assist with animal handling, restraint, and grooming as needed
- Administer medications under the direction of veterinary staff
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior

## Experience
- Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal health and behavior
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Veterinary assistant experience is a plus
- Dog training or pet sitting experience would be beneficial
