We are seeking a dynamic Per Diem Medical Assistant to join our expanding practice and support us in delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean before each appointment and stocked with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Engage and focus on the patient experience.
- You will be responsible for gathering patient information, informed consent, and payment information
- Assist the physician with minor procedures, patient charting, uploading imaging, and patient follow-up appointment scheduling
- Provide detailed post-care instructions to the patient and/or family members
- Accurately complete pathology and laboratory requisitions as required
- Complete logs and send specimens to the laboratory
- You would be required to other locations throughout the week
- You will perform other tasks and duties as directed
- Travel is required for this position
Skills:
- GED/High School Diploma
- Previous hands-on experience (preferably in a medical environment)
- Thrive in high-level engagement with Patients
