AQUA Dermatology is Florida’s largest and most comprehensive full-service skin care provider in the Southeast, offering medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, vein care, and radiation oncology.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our payment/correspondence posting team. They will supervise the daily operations of the payment/correspondence posting team. This role will assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures designed to improve billing services and the efficiency of operations. This position serves as a subject matter expert within the department, setting priorities and directing daily operations. Additionally, this role aligns resources to support and achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the payment/correspondence posting team
- Develop and implement new processes to improve billing services and operational efficiency
- Monitor and communicate team goals, encouraging high performance
- Perform quality assurance on payment posting and cash reconciliation
- Liaise with vendors, lockboxes, and clearinghouses to ensure accurate and timely payments
- Provide data analysis and reporting to support revenue cycle objectives
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
- College degree or High School diploma with medical collections experience
- Minimum 3 years of medical/healthcare office experience, including cash application and bank reconciliation
- One year of supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of medical revenue cycle, coding, and billing processes
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and practice management software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
